Ph.D. in Education, MBA, BS in Marketing and Management

With over 20 years of experience in all areas of higher education, I am an entrepreneur, educator, administrator, and coach. Over the years, I have dedicated my attention to assisting team members and graduates to become skilled individuals from a career standpoint. While skills are important, they are not the only aspect that should be focused on. I am dedicated to helping companies, people, and customers to overcome the voices and doubts we place upon ourselves. They say knowledge is power. It will be difficult to overcome those obstacles if you don't believe in yourself. It is my responsibility to become a better leader, to learn more, and to help individuals become the best version of themselves that they can be.

I started a career as an IB educator in Japan about four years ago after I finished my Ph.D. After a research career in entomology, agroecology, and environmental science, I became interested in education and science communication. My motivation as an educator is to encourage more young people to become interested in science since this is a fundamental part of solving the environmental issues of the 21st century. I am passionate about making a difference for students and school teams so they can impact their communities and achieve their goals.
